M2K Construction believes in environmental sustainability and building for the future. We embrace new technologies in heavy equipment and utilize only newer equipment that meets stricter emissions regulations.

Much of our past work has been completed in environmentally sensitive locations. We strive to exceed environmental restrictions on every job and take pride that we have never had penalties or claims stemming from infractions of environmental nature.

Some of the sensitive environments we have worked in on past projects include:

• Dyke upgrading along the Fraser River
• Detour and Highway Construction alongside fish-bearing streams
• Land clearing and site development where storm water management was a priority
• Site preparation near known bird and raptor nest areas

We have experience with DFO, FREMP, Provincial and Municipal construction requirements and procedures. We also have excellent working relationships with many environmental consulting companies.
